I purchased a Lionel GP9 Superbass B Unit.  I love it, but it has an issue out of the box that I'll need to rectify.  This unit has an electro coupler on the rear, and an operating coupler at the front end where it attaches to A Unit.  The issue is that the operating coupler continuously opens unexpectedly, leaving the B Unit and the rest of the consist sitting on the track.  I'm contemplating sending it back for exchange, but am concerned that if it was a "bad batch" the next one may have the same issue.  There's always the option of returning to Lionel for service, but thought that I'd ask here first.  I checked all of the usual issues with the positioning of the release mechanism, and it's fine, but extremely easy to pull down, so I believe the vibration is enough to do that.  It's not happening in any specific part of the layout, so I'm not suspecting magnetic interference.  I see a screw with a spring mounted directly under the coupler, and am wondering is that's an adjustment of some sort.  I don't want to try anything without first asking, but if it's a simple fix, I'd be willing to try it before returning.   I appreciate any thoughts!  Pictures attached below showing the offending truck and coupler.  Thank you!Lionel GP9 Front Truck - 1Lionel GP9 Front Truck - 2

UPDATE: I found a great post on how to repair operating couplers on Eric's Trains!  Ten minutes on the bench, and my problem is solved.  Wanted to post the update in case anyone else ever has the same issue.  The retention clip that Eric refers to has been changed to a screw on the modern locomotives apparently.  Much easier to back out a screw (careful not to lose the spring) to make the adjustment than removing a clip.
