If you have and experience with the Lionel K-Line SuperSnap switches, what are your opinions as far as operation and reliability? I know RMT is going to be offering them for sale later this fal but I don't want to pass them up when they ocassionaly show up on eBay for somewhat decent prices. Just as a referance....I am not sure what RMT's price point is going to be but the Lionel models can still be had new in the box for around $50.00 each if you search the internet but even that is above my limits!

Looking forward to hearing what any of you have to say about this product and I thatnk you in advance for sharing your knowledge.

Unless it's changed, I know the RMT price point was initially significantly higher than the old KL by Lionel or original K-Line price point.  (or it's at least very significant when compared to the $50 street price you refer to)

I think Walter indicated he had removed the one design issue that caused the remotes for the previously made switches to be left/right specific, but other than that I think he said they were essentially the same.

I was looking at the O72's when I was inquiring, so I don't recall if it was a similar price differential for the smaller curve diameter switches.
