I was on the ERR website considering buying some Railsounds boards. I know a few have reported items being out of stock like Cruise Ms but I can still put them in my cart and start the checkout process.

Has anyone yet ordered something that appeared to be in stock and then got a notice that it was no longer available? Either their software is lacking or I have not proceeded far enough to get a message.

Put my order in Sunday for standard cruise commander and two Cruise M.  To date I have not gotten any message stating they were out.  Hopefully I got in under the wire.

I emailed Ken to thank him for all his help over the years but haven't gotten a response.   One thing I would like to ask him which isn't listed on the website is a Old Railsounds 4.0 commander.  Wouldn't mind having one or two.

Another thing everyone should do, is download the instructions to what ever board you have.  When the website is down, thats all folks.

Just put in my order for a spare Cruise Commander and 4 Switch Commanders.

I would have ordered more but I was in the States over Easter and the train budget got hit hard at Ready to Roll😏.

At least I hopefully will have a spare CC board in case the Mallard or GG1 I upgraded ever dies.

I’ve been meaning to upgrade 4 older fastrack remote switches for a while but the current situation forced my hand to spend the cash.

Good advice on the instruction manuals. I have copies of some already. I am going to copy the rest and save them to iBooks on my iPad for easy reference.

If these use Lionel RS4 boards, you can order them from Lionel. The sell RS4 and RS4E including generic steam and diesel boards. As I recall Jon made a combination motherboard-audio power board for these to make them more compact. The sell a lot of the RS5 boards too but most all are roadname and cab number specific.
