We are pleased that Overland Models will  offer all 19 of the Norfolk Southern Heritage series locomotives painted on the latest GE ES44AC and EMD/ Progress Rail SD70ACe locomotives.  Along with the Norfolk Southern units we will offer a whole complement of GE and EMD units in a wide variety of roads and multiple scales that we will list late on Sunday March 18 on our website.  Please note that we will not have the showroom listing or images as we are only two people and have literally been on the road and preparing for all of the travel.  Look for more updates as additional NS Heritage units come online.  We will update regularly and also advise when images have been posted to our site.

Meaning HO and N guage. It has been close to 7 years since they imported an O model, the current SD70ACe/SD70 M-2 they are working on were already being built in 2005 when they chose to not pick up the rest of the run. These models are only being run because enough buyers were willing to put up advance deposits and additional money along the way to get the rest of the Heritage series done.

From an email I received from Brain regarding the above announcement applying to O Scale he said to wait for the upcoming price sheets.   He said it would not include additional SD70s (at least for now) as the current production is already too far along to add them on.  I asked whether it might include other ES44s like the Hybrid Demo and he said wait for the price list and noted that minimum quantities of anything listed would be required for actual production.
