Overview of MTH Premier PRR Crane/Tender sets

MTH has produced Premier cranes and crane tenders Pennsylvania Roadnames. These are nicely detailed models that represent work train cars often used by railroads for maintenance of way work trains.

Looking for prototype photos of similar PRR heavy cranes.

MTH has released three PRR versions of the Premier Crane.

These are:

#20-90005D Car #490904 (issued 1999)

#20-98298 Car #490744 (issued 2002)

#20-98745 Car #490902, 490905 (issued 2010)

MTH has also released two PRR versions of the Premier Crane tender.

These are:

#20-98302 Car #491495 (issued 2002)

#20-98749 Car #497915, 497910 (issued 2010)
