Hello,

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what type(s)/color(s) paint I should use for rocks/boulders on a Halloween themed layout? As of now, I plan on using woodland scenics black paint, but was wondering what other color would blend well with the black, and stay true to the Halloween theme. I've considered using gray or dark green, but I have yet to find the appropriate colors (shade) from woodland scenics.  I would be willing to use another brand, as long as the paint can be mixed with water. Also, I would be applying the paint to woodland scenics plaster cloth.

Appreciate any comments or input.

Thanks

Rocks and boulders vary greatly in composition, you could use any colors, literally. Are you going to use florescent lights and paint? Or glow in the dark paint? Will you stick with normal paints? Creepy, realistic vibe? Or kiddie, "orange/green/black"? With orng/gr/blk, Id try red-orange streaks on/under grey(s) and bright green slimes and/or mosses...come to think of it that would work in a realistic build too...So I guess what kind of paint you want to "splash around" on your "canvass" to create the "mood" is the key.
