Even if you had the correct MTH paint, silver is almost impossible to match for spot repairs. You may need to blend the paint color a few times to get it right. The paint application technique also affects the color match. There will be a difference between spraying and brushing.
HA,HA,.........................U CAN JUST GET A SILVER SHARPIE,DOT DA SCRATCH AND EITHER SMUDGE IT ACROSS OR JUST COVER DA WHOLE SCRATCH WIT DA MARKER.SUBWAYS ALWAYS HAVE SCRATCHES OR STAINS ON THEM,SO IT WILL LOOK MOR AUTHENTIC
You could always add a few of these to cover the scratches...
If there is a scratch on the roof, some weathering might help. Like CCrider said in real life there are scratches,dents,dirt ect. on the cars.

Is it silver acrylic paint? It looks accurate?
Ohh ok, I bought the set on ebay, it was the one with the old MTA decals and 'missing chains, he treated it like crap, the piece that goes under the door is missing, the powered car had a scratch on it, and the chains are missing for the last 2 cars.
