Had a buddy call me today with an engine he couldn't find parts for... He thought is was a Lionel, but it's actually an RMT 92450-1 switcher.
Anyway, the headlight is burned out and must be replaced. Where can he get RMT parts, or is this something generic he can pop in? Looks like an LED with red and black leads to me, but obviously I don't have the unit in front of me. See attached images.

Perhaps your friend should contact OGR Forum Sponsor RMT (in the banner above this page), They may have replacement bulbs or can give him information on the type of bulb needed.

Thanks for that Tony... he's not an online guy. If no one responds, I will for him.
Your ship has come in. 
Here's a couple from upgrading an RMT BEEP. I stuck them on a transformer, they both work. They have a diode in series, apparently that's how they limit the voltage to the bulbs.
