Have one of my AIUs at an authorized repair shop. Took it in Wednesday (1/8). Needs 2 chips (U2 and U3). The repair guy called me Saturday (1/11) about an issue with it BUT, hold your hats, the 2 chips that he ordered were already delivered!!!!
We hear such horror stories about waiting and waiting, I though I'd post a positive one for a change of pace.

Walt, I'm glad to hear of your good fortune! I didn't have to wait very long for an MTH board when I gave it to an Authorized MTH technician to fix. It was only 2 or 3 weeks, but if memory serves, he said he got the board directly from MTH. I agree, John has an excellent point!!

talked with the repair guy yesterday and brought up John' comment. Indeed John was correct - the guy said he got the chips off of ebay using the 'buy now' option.
