Now that I have both of my standard gauge trolleys running I need to fill the seats with passengers. I am wondering where to find seated passengers that are 1:24. I'm looking for two dozen, some for my #9 trolley and some for my McCoy Camden Station summer trolley. I have seen a few seated passengers (2) for $28.00 and at that price, my trolleys will always be empty. I would prefer passengers that are already painted. Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.

E-bay...I just saw 6 1:24 sitting people for $7.99....Type ...people1:24 and it should come up.
Gene, Thanks a lot ! I just placed an order for 12. This should be a good start.
A few years ago, I purchased repro Lionel figures from Joe Mania. These figures were able to be mounted on the pins on the trolley seats like the originals. Worth checking out if they are still available.
Are the 1:24 and 1:25 figures on ebay actually the same size ?
Probably close, but more likely larger. Those early trolleys have doors large enough for the 3" Barclay figures to enter! I have a set of the Lionel Classics 200/201 blue/cream trolley/trailer and the 1:25 figures would not look out of place!
When I went on ebay I came across what looked like the same exact figures in 1:24 and 1:25. I was wondering if they were one in the same? If so I will order a few more after the first dozen arrive and have been placed in the summer trolley. Does anyone know if this is true? That they are the same size.
Hi there folks, I was just following along with this thread, and got curious. So I took a look on E-Bay myself... It looks like the 1:24 & 1:25 figures are one and the same. In all honesty, the difference in size between those two scales would be so slight, it would take a precision tool to measure it. So they probably sell the same figures for each scale and figure they'll meet the needs of both. Since the old standard gauge trains we run were created as a Gauge, instead of a precise numerical scale, there's probably enough wiggle room for these figures to work. So if they look good when you put them in their seats, let me know and i'll probably buy some myself.
Happy Railroading...
Johnniewalker....I think they come from China and sometimes they don't get everything right in the translation!!!!!!!! The people are probably
the same size. Even if they are not the same I don't think it will make much difference between 1:24 and 1:25, after all people are all different sizes....
Thanks guys !! When the 12 figures arrive I will be using some type of putty to attach them to the bench seats in the Pride Lines Camden Station Trolley. When I do this I hope to post a photo of it on this thread. Thanks for every ones input, it's nice to know you are all out there.
johnniewalker.....when you attach the people to the seats use Quik-stick or Mini-hold, it's a removable adhesive wax that can be removed without any damage.
Thanks for the advice Gene. I will look for some today. Just got a notice that the figures have been shipped.
