Friends an all around great guy and friend to many of us IN THE HOBBY passed away September 24th. Mike had been battling a long illness. IF you remember Mike was in charge of parts and service. He also assisted LENNY DEAN with product development. i'm thankful I had the oppertunity to work with both LENNY Dean AND MIKE as a team on and off with product development since 1980.

LETS all say a prayer for Mike and his family. Tony his son still works for LIONEL and is following in his dads foot steps.

GOD BLESS YOU MIKE AND THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT TIMES WE SHARED OVER THE YEARS.

MAY YOU REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND

My sincere condolences go out to Mike's family and friends.  What saddening news.  Mike will be missed by all who knew him and knew of him.  My the good Lord take Mike into the warmth of His loving arms forever.  The flags in Lionelville truly have been lowered today - so sad...

God bless you Mike.

Received an email yesterday from a former Lionel employee notifying me of Mike's unfortunate passing. Spoke to and dealt with Mike Braga over the years when the TMCC demo group was around doing its volunteer work showing off command control but that ended when Lionel decided to take it in-house with their own experts instead of having it done for free aka volunteerism.

Regardless, a big loss to the hobby as we lost one of the real good guys in the hobby. Mike will be missed.

I was very sorry to learn of Mike's passing, and my condolences to his family.  Mike was a true gentleman, and I recall with fondness my many conversations with him when I was researching material for the Inside The Lionel Trains Fun Factory book.  Mike generously provided invaluable insight on the early Lionel Modern Era years.  He will be missed.
