I have met him, at York and his store. A very likable guy with good service. He was quite helpful when Wild Bills suddenly closed(due to illness). Finding product for then lost preorders.
I've bought from Pat a few times and I've been impressed with his speedy shipping. I got shorter a couple of cars once and a quick email and he took care of it with lightening speed. Great to do buisiness with but it's though to shop his site cuz the search yeilds too many results and there's no way to sort them
I've always been happy with the few times I've ordered from Pat. I also greatly enjoyed a visit to his store on the tail end of a cross country road trip. I just recently ordered a freight car I'd been looking for. There was an issue with my card not going through (no fault of Pat's, I fat fingered it when punching it into the computer) and Pat's wife immediately called to sort it out.
I just wish he'd improve his website, especially get rid of the stuff that says "sold out" that is years old and/or make filters to determine engine, freight car type, etc. I'd say I've gone elsewhere a few times because of the website.
