Gentlemen, the scenery and pictures are excellent.

Using this as an example, the next chain link from RSJC18's post for me is "GEEP".

The remainder of this picture gives the next poster lots of subject matter to choose from.

BTW, I love the D&H paint scheme, especially the PA-1s. No criticism if you are able to match multiple elements. But sometimes, you just need to pick something an go with it.

I agree with John. A string of "Caboose, caboose, caboose" (or whatever) gets uninteresting, very fast. From the last picture posted, just pick a different subject that also appears in your new picture. IE, "GEEP" has been used. Pick something else to feature in your next post.

Despite my previous comments I do agree that the spirit of the game that Greg laid out was to pick something from the last post and post your picture. I suggest those who don't understand the "rules" go back to the first post and read them.

4 or 5 posts of steam engines or tank cars is not what its about.

I love this thread but I've walked away several times due to this issue.

Question, what is the purpose of naming 3 or 4 or 5 items in a photo. What is the record so far, has anyone reached 10 yet.

Bragging.

The original concept of this game has long since been so eclipsed, I don't even recognize it anymore.

Frankly, once people just started picking photos at some point way back, instead of the previous one before they're posting, I was done with this game...

The game would lag for guessing , it was discussed at one time.

Clever choices land you in between "To Tell the Truth" and "Where's Waldo" and keep the game flowing.

edit : above is a reply to a now deleted question (??)

It's easier to jump it back on track with correct posts and even ignore the ones that don't "fit"; than it is to continue fussing    The last post is the final word, and eclipses those before it, the instant you make it better, the ball can roll again

(crap... browser needs cookies reset to post a pic )
