what is a good source for replacement wire for tortoise switch machine, .039 piano wire

As I recall, I purchased my brass tubing and piano wire from one of my local hobby shops. Either Berwyn's or DesPlains Hobbies.
FWIW, I've found brass tubing and various width/gauge piano wire at Ace Hardware at a reasonable price.
I used a heavier wire than one that came with the machines. I used the wire that is used to hang suspended ceilings. It was what I had on hand and it worked well.
this hobby shop carries piano wire ---> http://www2.stevenshobby.com:5641/
In fact they carry just about everything.
Any full service r/c airplane hobby shop and in ever decreasing in number regular hobby shops. Russ
Got mine at DesPlains Hobbies.

We use .032 and .036, just depends on the thickness of the roadbed. Don't waste your time using the wire that comes with the Tortoise machines.
