my polar express engine runes very slow even not at all even when it is on full power.  it is one of the first production runs i believe.  the person before me said he just displayed it.  i redid the grease and oiled it.  wen i first got it she ran great.  now she barley moves.  1) what can make this happen?

2) can anyone post the digram on how to disassemble it?

3) is it even worth fixing?

thanks ever one

Yes, it's worth fixing. Check for bent side rods.

There's four screws to remove. Two next to the pistons in the front on the bottom and two near the back edge of the cab in the rear. Gently lift the rear slightly, then hold the pistons and slide the boiler up from the front.

reassembly is a little tricky to get the smoker correctly aligned.

Don't open it until you've checked it with the smoker switch off, bents rods and such.
