Indeed Mark, but it’s a list we enjoy working on!

I added a conductor on each side of my doodlebug yesterday after finding them in my box of people. While they are twins, you will never see both sides of the unit at the same time, LOL:

Nice touch.

Aren’t we fortunate to have the privilege of spending our time contemplating the mutilation of our plastic beep people so they fit in our Doodlebugs and passenger cars?
LOL, Arnold
I finally opened up my doodlebug and put in some people and an extra guy up front. I also painted the seating area black and tried to tone down the LED lighting. The passengers had to be cut as mentioned above, and if they were holding a newspaper or coffee cup the cutting was even more extreme. The guy holding a coffee cup eventually had to be removed because he was bending the plastic ‘glass’ too much. The extra guy up front came from some spare drivers I bought for a Lionel speeder upgrade. I took the pics before my final cleanup so there’s some dust on the windows.
I was hesitant to add another guy up front because my research indicated that these units were done as a cost savings measure. Perhaps in real life these only had one guy in the front. But it’s my RR so I’ll pay for another guy.
Very nice looking doodlebug now that it has passengers and a second employee, @texgeekboy I agree, two employees should have been the rule!
