There was a news story the other day on NPR that there is a port strike at both LA and Long Beach ports that currently is small in nature but has some businesses, who import from Asia, concerned.  Although the strike is primarily by the clerks union, other port unions are also participating in support of the clerks.  Shippers are supposedly planning possible reroutes of ships to other ports.

With the recent emails from both Lionel and MTH's indicating expected December shipments, will we have a repeat of the California port strike several years ago where some ships were detoured to the east coast and closer to the companies distribution network hub?
