First off, when I reply to the post above, the "Post Reply" window shows up underneath Jeffrey's video.  That makes no sense.

Second, the picture I've attached from photobucket was automatically resized down to this stupid tiny image size to fit this stupid narrow forum.  And since it gives you NO option to zoom to view the original image, everyone looses out.  It's like you guys are forcing us to attach our images to your site.

No good.

That's a great logo, Steve, but the beer should have a warning label: WARNING: DO NOT DRINK THIS BEER!

Pete, can't get the stuff here anyway.  This is going to be my logo for future custom "beer" reefers and an operating beer car made from a Lionel operating milk car.

Give me a break. We're not "forcing" you to do anything. If you want to just link to images posted elsewhere, be my guest. You won't get all the new features available here, but you can do it the old way if you wish.

Because you only LINKED to your image at Photobucket instead of ATTACHING an image directly from your computer and uploading it here, you only get the sized-down image from Photobucket set to fit the screen. If you look at literally every other photo post in this thread, where people have followed the procedure and done it properly, they have an icon available in their posts that when clicked, displays the image FULL SIZE. Your post does not have that icon because you only linked to an image somewhere else instead of uploading it here.

If you want to use all the new features available in this forum, then you have to do things in a new way. Doing it the old way, as you have done, yields the old results.

As for the reply showing under the video screen, that is a browser issue on your computer. Time to upgrade your browser.

This is absurd.  The proper procedure should NEVER be to upload your images directly to a given forum.  It's a fine feature that makes it simple for those that are not tech savvy.  But its' all but useless for those of us who frequent many different forums, and maintain large personal photo libraries.  This has been an internet standard since....well....forever.

BTW: Photobucket is not narrowing my image, the size of the post column is.  Until you guys widen this silly post column, all linked images are going to be like this.
