Has anyone bashed a heavyweight into a power unit? If so, could you please share how it was done? Thank you, John

Rod Miller makes a fine example here using a PRB 2001 run ATSF fish belly baggage car. I like mine although I’ve never used it. My Key PAS manage the 17 cars fine in my mail train.

I’ve seen them in HO as well. Coach Yard and Challenger Imports we’re both building them for those heavy brass complete sets 90’s thru 2000’s.
Ancient video here on the old DSMR layout of the car working in this consist of my mail train. This was a steep grade on the old Colorado Midland just the same as the real Moffat Road. This is straight up DC, a DCC decoder would enable you too run your stealth car anywhere in the consist.
I bashed a K-line pair of interurbans into a self propelled gas electric and trailer, but am not sure that is what you are looking for?

I hadn't thought of that. Trading K-Line shells between a powered interurban passenger car and a heavyweight baggage or RPO would be fine. Thank you. John
