Lionel in their infinite wisdom never gave the thought of powering the B unit of Horizontal Motor F3s Has anyone ever modified the frame of a 2343 or 2344 I am thinking of a ABA each with 3 horizontal motors each with QSI ACRU 2 trailing units set as slaves to lead unit so as to keep e-units in synch I know it could be an amp sucker

I did a powered F3B that is a Williams with internals from a Williams GP9. It works well as Williams starts in forward.
