Hi,

First post just getting back in to hobby ne grand children.

Using the CAB1 and the 135 watt PowerMaster could I use a post war LW for power which should produce 125 watts of power. Should I use some additional circuit protection  when using the LW in a straight connection? Will be operating Lionel Command Motive Power. The reason I thinking about this a 5 year grandson, the straight LW, I think, would be easier for him?

I thought that the PowerMaster would offer several beneficial things, circuit protection, ability to kill power instantaneously , so your saying just go to the LW with a in line fuse

Thanks

It does... I would use it in a second if that's all I had to work with. It's fun.   That's how we all (some)  started before the command base and TPCs days .
