Before MTH came out with their gas electric (doodlebug), there was the K-Line
Interurban and as mentioned in another post, a lot of K-Line Heavyweight unfinished combines and coaches. One simply takes a K-Line unfinished car, (or two, cut in two as previously described), and finishes it as a gas electric, then screws it on the powered interurban chassis, preserving the original interurban body in the K-Line box. And you had a gas electric before a three
rail version became available...OR you could apply Bowser three rail street car
trucks and power to an American Standard Car company model of a Brill gas
