I always look forward to making this announcement! It’s about three weeks to go!

What……Breakfast, Thursday AM, October 17, “pre-York”.

Where….Round-the-Clock Diner…….Arsenal Rd, which is Route 30, just east of the I-83 interchange.

When….we start gathering about 0715-0745, arriving and making up tables/ordering/eating as we arrive.

Why…..it started about a year or two after York moved to 3 days….the same people would be there for breakfast and I thought to formalize it into an OGR Forum event. It’s a great way to see friends for all over the country before we’re lost among the throngs of people. It’s a way to meet Forum members in person that you only know “online”. Put a face and a name together. In addition, there are many who come to York singly or are newcomers to the show. Meet other York attendees. Catch up with friends…….you get the idea, it’s a great time!

……and, since it’s October, let me give you a hint on what I’m ordering…….these are available only in the Fall.

As always, to help with a head count for the Round-the Clock, post if you are coming and about how many.

Also, never fear, if circumstances if you don’t know until the day of, don’t worry, we make room for all comers whenever you can decide. I’m just trying to get a rough estimate.

Peter

I would be coming from Hagerstown Md. Not sure yet if I can make it.

Interesting…..do you go to York via I-81 to Rte 30 and then east through the Cashtown gap or take the road through the Cumberland Valley though South Mountain to Thurmond, north on 15 and then switch to 30 in Gettysburg……or, another route………

I am interested because I’ve travelled through much of the Cumberland Valley due to my interest in the battles of Antietam and Gettysburg
