Upstate Model Railroad NY portable layout this past Thursday at Market & Food Corral Glens Falls NY with kids and young at heart running trains. Layout fits in pick-up truck in 2 sections, assembles with help in half an hour and uses SHS sectional track with FlyerChief engines and controls. Great turnout and fun! Thanks to all. Mike

I love this. The children seem entranced with the S Gauge trains in the photos.
I have some S Gauge Postwar American Flyer lying dormant in boxes (not good) that I hope to set up down the road after I get a dumpster and empty our mud room (between house and garage). When I do that, the S Gauge layout will have a winter theme.
In my opinion, S Gauge Anerican Flyer has a lot of charm. Arnold
Arnold. Thanks and I agree about the children. Hoping you are soon successful in getting your trains running.
Our club has portable layouts we display for O, HO and N, and my "biased" opinion is that the children enjoy S the best. At our club, the permanent layout is 8'x24' with 3 trains running, and many operating accessories, which the kids and the young at heart seemed to love. For our club it is such fun to see them running them and brings joy and good memories to us. Best. Mike
Bob, Tom, Mikeaa thanks very much! Mike
