Absolutely CORRECT! The PRR K4s was NOT a very good freight hauler, what with those big 79" diameter drive wheels, designed for 100 MPH passenger train speeds.
To answer your original question, find the catalog number of a PS-1 PRR freight steam locomotive and order that chip from MTH. Then you can swap the chip and have freight sounds.
