PS1 board missing

We can order the exact chip from MTH, but you'll still have to find the upper board.  Truthfully, I'd be tempted to pick up a complete board set, you may find one reasonably close if you're not to picky.  They come by in the forum in the $25-40 range, that's both boards.

Bruce I have a top board, and some generic diesels.  In this case I think you would want the budd chip and passenger effects.  G

I didn't know that it could even run without the top board.  Marty posted in another thread that the boards are still available from MTH.  But if GGG has the board and chip, get it from him.  I've dealt with him for my own PS-1 locomotive needs and can recommend him.

Thank you for the reference.  You can jumper the bottom board to run in a single direction.  It won't cycle because it doesn't have the logic chips of the DCRU.  G

That has been done, one direction only, lights work, no horn, no bell no etc.
