I have an MTH SD70ACe PS2 engine that will sometimes start up with no problem after being on the track with no power for say from one day to the next. Once the power is applied to the track, with no interruption, the engine will still start up and shutdown with no problem. If engine has been shutdown, the power to the track is off for say a minute or two, then you power up the track again and try to start the engine, the remote reads "Engine Not On The Track" "Check Track." If power is turned on/off quickly several times the engine will sometimes start up.
