what mthrailfan mentioned will ore should fix your problem I ran into it before, had to right click and save as n you can put in whatever directory you want most people just install on your desktop so you can find it easily, other times some peopke have had better luck  with Firefox internet after down loading that I also have used Microsoft edge with windows 10 or internet explorer with windows 7 all work fine ok. good luck

Can't just click them anymore with Windows for some reason. Must right click and save as.  As mentioned.  G

The sound file is to 2-8-2 L-1 Mikado Steam Engine w/Proto-Sound 2.0 (Hi-Rail Wheels)

1) Right Click on Proto-sound logo for the desired soundfile;

So,  I got the file: p071pf3l1mik_3rall070416gf2x.mth

2) Question:

May I used that file to install in the locomotive?

Yes, that's the sound file that you point to with the DCS loader and it will upload to the locomotive.

Yes if the board is a 3V board and if it has 2Meg of memory, vice the original older boards that only had 1Meg.  The loader will let you know if it will work.  G
