Looks good, the CW at full voltage is closer to a full sine wave. I would invest when you can in a Lionel Power House 180W brick. Will give you 10 amps at 18V and one of the best circuit breakers available. You would even be able to jump it over to Fixed 2 and source two loops and run 2-3 trains at once. G
She looks real good Mark. Have fun with her.

Thank you for that recommendation!!
Hey Mark, what is the yellow dial on the bottom of the tender for on this engine you loaned me??-Is this the volume control??If not,is this as loud as these things get??-Kenny
I will 2nd GGG's recommendation for the Lionel PH-180 Bricks. That's what I use for track power and they work great and so do the breakers, extremely fast. The only thing I have found to be faster is the PSX-AC which is only slightly faster. By slightly I mean fractions of a second. The PH-180 is also probably the best value for a power supply out of any available today. (Bet you can't tell that I like these things?)

Kenny,
The yellow dial on the tender of the Hudson is the manual volume control. It adjusts volume when running in conventional mode, that is when not using the TIU.
If you are running the Hudson from the TIU, then the sound and smoke are controlled by the remote. The manual controls on the tender will have no effect. When set at 100% it will be plenty loud. Even I, with partial hearing loss, think it is way too loud.
