My ample supply of dry transfer numbers stock that I got from a lady on the east coast is now greatly depleted. I understand she is no longer providing this product. I have seen some ink stamps on eBay for many of the post war steamers. Does anyone have experience using the ink stamp method? The dry transfers were simple and easy with a wonderful result.

I've seen those. But for someone like me, seems an expensive item and a one shot deal. I plan on trying some of these decals, should work fine for me.
JLM Trains manufactures and sells stamps. I think they are priced a little more reasonably on his web site. I have not tried them myself. The last time I did any painting, I used dry transfers. Here is a link:
