Rail car trucks, rail wheel sets, mobile equipment (used for modern day accident cleanup), switches already assembled and held at an angle to fit through standard railway clearances, couplers with connecting bars, rail splice bars (to hold rail together at the joint, barrels of railway spikes, signal equipment, plus any stuff you can imagine that may come back from cleaning up a train wreck.

Bucket loaders, tracked backhoes and ordinary backhoes that would have a grappler attachment instead of a scoop, which is probably not available in 1:48 or 1:50 scale.   A regular backhoe would work instead.

It's the one that gave me the inspiration to make up my own.
