I understand a transformer would be housed in a 435. What transformer would have fit in that era?

It came with either the "A" or "B" transformer. The A started at 40 watt, & later 60 watt, where the B came in 75 watt.
Thank you.
Your welcome, and fortunately I have the books to check!
I just bought a reproduction 435 and I think it will look cool to have a period transformer in it as a conversation piece.
I just stole one excellent C7 on ebay for $76. It was a buy it now & had just started.

Mine was $10 bucks but not a C7. I did a quick repaint to clean it up and it fits in the station like a glove!
Chris,
How about some pictures, I would love to see how it came out! Have been considering doing something like this myself.
