I am considering getting one of the two separate-sale conventional GG1's Lionel offered in its 2011 Signature catalog. The description says they have just one motor (can, I assume). If anyone has one of these G's, do you find the solo-motor powerful enough? I wonder because the comperable, and less expensive, Williams GG1's are listed as having two motors. Any help will be appreciated.

I have one of these models and they in fact have 2 vertical can motors. Go to the Lionel home page and look up the parts diagrams for one of these models and its shows 2 motors.
I have the Williams GG1....depending on where you buy it, the price can be so good even brand new with incredible performance, you can buy 2 or 3!
I have a Tuscan GG1 from Willams and Santa Claus (My Wife) was asked via email to get me the Green one too!
