Question on MTH Premier UP Gondola 20-98002 | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi

I need some help on this MTH UP Premier Gondola. The MTH product locator makes it look purple, one on an auction site looks like a shade of maroon, another site it looks more red. 20-98002

Can anyone tell me, or preferable post a picture of this car and tell me what is the real color of this car?

The one one the auction site appears to be a typical tuscan red to me.

I have three UP Premier gondolas. All shades of brown darker or lighter with white or yellow lettering. The pictures I have seen on line of this item are also brown. Don't think there are any maroon ones out there. At least I hope not. Yuch.

These are awesome cars by the way. I have all mine filled with different kinds of steel bar stock that I got at Lowes and cut at home. The weighted cars glide along like ghosts and have very nice sound and momentum when they couple and uncouple.

The color is a typical tuscan red or brown used on most box cars. FYI the ends are black.
