Well finally it is done
I purchased the Railking Imperial Big Boy passenger set back in 2008 MTH # 30-1514-1
Right out of the box it had rod problems which got fixed and then a Board issue which got sent to MTH and Repaired. got it back home and it ran for almost a year on the carpet central until the smoke unit quit working so I decided that I would rebuild it and got the parts from MTH. Well me rebuilding the smoke unit was a no no. in the process of testing it out the whole unit fell down and grounded against the frame and all i heard was crackle. This happened in 2009 it has taken me till now to get the funds to repair this engine. Finally i was able to get an upgrade kit from Marty Fitzhenry and him and I started to rebuild this monstrosity. Well Tonite i finally finished and boy was it a whole lot of work. But I was able to do it and I got it going and it runs beautiful and sounds awesome so it was a definate high five for me
