Railroad Button Collection | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I saw this button collection yesterday in a antique mall. I have a couple questions.

Is this something that would have been sold in a railroad gift shop ? Any idea what the cost ? This guy is asking $125. Just seemed a little high to me.

Looking for suggestions before I make an offer.

They all look too shiny and new.........real ones from the RR that I model are not shiny but then they are over 100 years old, too......and generally sell for upwards of $20 ea.

They look like repros....reissues of the original...buyer beware,IMHO the price is too high...cheers...joe
