Here are some pics that I took a few weeks ago of old CSX switchtower and surrounding area near Orange, Virginia.

Here are some CSX mainline photos.

The excavation is the Pinkerton Tunnel day lighting.

Where are the rails?  Local shortline Grafton & Upton's mainline through Grafton, MA photographed this past Monday, 2/11/13, prior to being plowed after the weekend blizzard dumped about 30" in the area.  At this point only a snowmobile has "ridden the rails"...

The rails are gone but the warning remains ...

Horseshoe Curve:

Oregon Electric across the Calapooia River on a now-rare pin-joined truss bridge.

Former Oregon Electric trackage, still in service.

The Horseshoe curve, however you can see the headlights of an oncoming train just right of center through the trees.  Click on the thumbnail to enlarge it.

I take pictures of the crossovers.  Looks like MdMikey does too.

A rarely used "branch line" in Strasburg, VA  (not PA)

When I tried to upload a couple photos, the system tried to upload the ENTIRE FOLDER!  How do I select individual photos?

That must be a big squirrel or a narrow railroad!
