What is the difference (other than price) between a Lionel 6-18129 and
a Lionel 6-34544?
Do they both have Legacey Railsounds? One having more sounds and chatter than the other? Or is the difference one has Command Control and the other does not? They would both be for a Santa Fe F3 2343. I do not have or need Command Control.
6-18129 is Railsounds 2.5. It's command equipped but will also run conventionally no problem. It does not have crew talk. The 6-18136 B unit is identical to the 6-18129 but was offered for separate sale.
6-34544 has Legacy Railsounds as well as crew talk. Will run conventionally no problem as well.
Any of the B units will work fine conventionally with a 2343 F3. I added an ERR AC Commander to my 2343 and run it with a 6-18136 B unit under TMCC. Works great.
