Jeff, I think you have a better Maintenance crew than my Yorke hotel. Also, I never added the Pool Hall. It's going to be a stand alone building out of town. Don

The two rarest kits I have are the Korber 2010 Warehouse and the Korber 2005 Transfer Warehouse. Both of those were injection-molded styrene vs. urethane castings and are out of production to the best of my knowledge. Hopefully the tooling is still out there somewhere. Both are unassembled as I don't have a layout yet.

Sure do! Lol.
I have the bordello re issue as well, just haven’t built it yet If I have the story correct, some people thought they were getting the original bordello with the re issue, and were shocked to see the major changes.
you did an amazing job on the bordello. The photography is great as well. The last photo looks like real life!

Wow that #2005 transfer house looks like a real Eastern factory from the 1950's. I wonder if both Korber kits #2005 & #2010 COMBINED would look like!
I bought this Downtown Deco kit when they came out in the eighties Kozak's Machine shop. I have yet to put it together. Pic.........Paul 2

Interesting you mention that. I was thinking about combining them into a single large industry. Quite a few of the parts are identical in both kits. I've seen three 2005 kits on eBay since I got mine (all have gone for almost $200), and I've only seen one other 2010 kit (I got really lucky on the price of this one as the first one went for almost $250). They do occasionally show up.
Matt, now is the time to get started on your kit. Before you start your layout. Don

Yes. Apparently the original bordello sold out. Then Tom Yorke decided to do a re issue. Your version is the re issue version. Nothing like the first version!
There is a definite use for broken downtown deco castings. You made a great diorama!
Yes, what are differences between two .....original and re-do? Bordello kits, Jcovert, yours, well done, above is the original?
Original version is the plaster version, plaster stone walls and base, wood upper walls. The re release is resin castings.
To confuse matters, mike Lynch, Aka madmike3434 did a re issue of the original version, same castings, he just added some different upgrades
They are both great kits....

Good point. I'm finalizing a small switching deck for my home office and have two other buildings for that which I might as well start on.

I have an unopened kit of this one - and lots of kits but small model railroads.

Scott wants one. "My Uncle Bud worked in the B&O tower for 38 years until 1977." Would you be willing to sell? See top of page and give him a shout. Don
Just bought a B/J TRACTION, City Fire Department building, really thick resin semi flush kit.
Any one heard of them before?
Not seen that B&O tower/station kit before. Have a built up Santa Fe tower/station. Would buy a kit of one of C&O's distinctive New River Gorge tower/stations although those were far from what l model. Somebody from Louisville, Ky. was set up in a show with a kit for one of C&O's stations, but never heard anymore about it.

Love those buildings. I have almost all of them and they make wonderful from the 30s and 40s. This is my modified B/J Traction theater. I have another one I'm going to make soon. Don
I just thought, with all this interest in O structure kits, why have l only found one Conoco gas station kit in decades of attending York? Have found some at Timonium on that same week, but not that many. We need some structure kit specialists at York...

My B/J Traction theater was only about two inches deep so I build it full scale using DPM wall sections. Also I cut it down from three stories to two. Don
Speaking of BJ Traction kits A friend of mine kitbashed a few of the BJ Traction corner buildings with the rounded front to make this
Funny you should bring this up. I was lucky enough last year to buy all three of the B/J Traction three story buildings. The theater, corner building and what they call Barney's Hardware. I'm planning on doing the same thing your friend did. These were great kits. I was told the molds were on their last leg so not many more kits could be produced. It would be wonderful is Korber would make new molds of these and bring them out again. Don
I just bought this laser cut kit of the Thomas, West Virginia Western Maryland station from Carolina Craftsman Kits this spring. It is a brand new release in O scale and I think the HO version is fairly new as well. I plan to build it this winter.

Mark, that looks like a great Kit I look forward to seeing it built eventually roll on winter! Thanks for posting mate. Roo.
Thank you Roo. They picked the post tornado version of the station. The single story end was curved in a complete semicircle. Then a tornado hit it on top of the mountain in the early ‘40s I believe, and the rebuild was squared off. It will be just the ticket for my version of Thomas, West Virginia
huh... i almost forgot about this one...
Does this count? I say that because once I became aware of the various walls that could be composed into this edifice, I began collecting them whenever I had what seemed like enough for this building. I think most, if not all, of the various sections were by Yorke, which is a decades-old memory for me, of many visits to many, many shows, throughout my earliest years of immersing myself in our hobby and the construction phase(s) of it, trying to get all the parts necessary for this project's completion.

I think l have several rare kits, built and unbuilt, but would guess this might be one of the rarest:. The Black Mill Covered Bridge, n.w. of Lancaster, Ohio. It is copyrighted 1984, and was offered by Smoke Stack Hobbies. I drove through this bridge several times over the years, but in the last few it has been bypassed, but Black Mill, next to it, has not been modeled, but has been completely restored, operating, inside and out. If it had a kit, l'd be hunting it. I saw these kits new, and found one a fee months ago.
I am sure most wont care about mine, but for us postwar guys, mine are all original Plasticville.
The following are my rarest, and also confirmed variations.
2 Story House-
White walls, red roof and red windows. (80;s version)
Tan Walls, Tan Windows, Red Roof (80's version)
Tan walls, White Windows, gray roof with a white porch floor (still sealed, Factory Error) 60's
Red Walls, Charcoal Roof, White Windows
New England Rancher
Tan Sides, Red Roof, Brown Windows
Tan Sides, Black Roof, Pea Green Windows (80's version)
Other include, the Davy Crockett Cabin, Red Roof Post Office, Dark Blue Ranch House, Charcoal Gray Roof Colonial Mansion, Marbled Hobo shacks, Dark Blue Bus and Ambulance etc etc etc..I will try to get some other photos if anyone is interested.
Anyone else into vintage Plasticville?
Mark, never have seen many of those. Who made the first house with the porch? Don
These were all made by Bachmann for their Plasticville Line
Don, that is nice. I especially like the simulated spinning propellers.
