Red Presidential Loc 11-2031-1

I have the Blue Version. No scratches under the cab. From top down. cotter pin,washer,frame base,washer,spring,truck base, spacer for coupler shaft,top of screw.

Love the Red set. Wish I could afford the Red one also. Using a photo posted by Chris L. as my Christmas wallpaper.

I thought this set was to have nickel trim.

Does the set have brass trim, like the blue presidential sets? If so, MTH lost a sale! I didn't order one, or buy one because it was advertised with all nickel trim!

Mine is brass.  I am still having problems with the truck. On a flat track there is just to much weight on the spring or to weak of a spring causing the front wheels to move up on curves and very slight undulations of track. A stronger spring will solve this problem.

I love mine! Haven't noticed any scratches.   Wish I could get the passenger car lights not to flicker so much.
