Several Years ago I purchased a completed 3 tier Table layout that was originally used in the movie (Rat Pack) Which was a made for TV movie in 1988 with Ray Liotta, William Peterson and several others. I did not know any of this about it being used in a TV movie till after I acquired it and owned it for several months. I was looking at a Marble Fireplace at an antique auction on line and a friend was going to be at the sale taking place in Culver City, California. While he was there he saw the train layout and began sending me pictures of it and said the lady was willing to sell it. The heck with the marble fireplace I want the train layout . So we decided on a price and she said she would deliver it. They were an antique dealer who new how to package and ship the rarest of antiques and believe me it was taken apart in 4 pieces, as it had been assembled. One piece at a time. When I received it there were no broken corners nor trees nor telephone poles no missing shrubs not a damaged item on it. She also said in crate #1 There was a train underneath the lower level. It was with it when they acquired it and had no use for it so she was sending it along. Several months later I was doing some rewiring on the middle level which had another shelf that was virtually obscured from view with a 1X4 attached to it which blocked the view and access where I need to re wire a few accessories. Here is where I discovered almost 2 complete RED Rocket Express Lionel train Sets  made for another Movie. Everyone wondered why I did not find them to begin with? Well I wasn't looking for them as I found the train that was included with the Purchase of the 4 piece layout so that is why It took several months to discover them! I am trying to clear up the story written about me finding the Red Rocket Express in the December 2018 Special Issue of CTT Christmas and Electric Trains. I had taken a picture of a couple extra Katy Boxcars I wanted to sell on EBAY and one of the RED Rocket Sante fe Diesels was in the background and then The Emails became apparent I had something a whole lot of people had interest in. It wasn't the Katy Boxcars either. Any way one of the train Publications reached out to me and wanted photos taken of the RED ROCKETS and I obliged. So that's the whole yarn in a nutshell. I wasn't dumb and stupid I already found the train that came with my original purchase. The red Rockets were found months later and they have a special place in my train room. Along with a DVD of the Movie. That I had never seen.
