How many remotes can tiu support. Or do you need a tiu for each remote?

You can have 16 remotes. It doesn't matter whether you have one or five TIU's

per tiu..I have Barry's book. and the DCS manual..where did you find this information?

Page 117 in the 2nd edition. It's under the TOC subject Using More Than One DCS Remote.

DCS allows the use of up to 16 DCS Remotes for a layout. These DCS Remotes may be numbered from 0 through 15.

Each remote can communicate to as many as five TIU's.

I found it after I posted.. I just had to take it in the "reading room" where could focus without family distractions lol thanks...
