I would like to have some MTH engine and DCS repair/upgrade work done. I'm having trouble finding someone to commit to repairs and especially upgrades. What gives?
Is Lionel service any better? Weaver? Thanks everybody.

Catoctin Mountain Trains and Mike Brouse are top notch in my book. www.cmtrains.com
I have heard this from others also. Some shop owner/techs don't feel as comfortable doing the electronic work. Some techs are part time at shops. I think this can apply to any manufacturer. Most Technical Lionel work goes back to Lionel, with the exceptions of some large dealers who have good techs.
There are also folks like me who are comfortable doing electronic repairs and upgrades and work via dealers, home, web based business, etc...
