In only the remote, I cannot  add or move an engine to address numbers 29 and 30. But ok for 31 and higher. However, I can use 29 and 30 on my iPhone. But then the remote won't recognize them.

Unsure how it happened. But it maybe associated with one engine that has been returned to my service technician for a board or sound file problem.

I can continue to add beyond those two addresses on both devices. But curious as to what could have caused it and how I can restore those two addresses that are being blocked by the remote. I want to keep remote and iPhone lists the same.

A  remote reset  should fix that but as you know everything  will be deleted including switches etc.

Are you saying remote  IDs 29 & 30 are still shown as available to edit to??

Bob, Gregg knew where I was going by asking how many remotes you have.

Unless you have too much time on your hands, or have over 95 engines, the easiest course of action is to ignore the gaps.

You say these two IDs can be accessed from the wifi.  Are the engines associated with those IDs accessible under another address on the remote?

Here' something else to try.  Use the program that is intended to export the remote's data to a wifi device.  Save that program to your computer.  Use a text editor program to look at the program. Don't send it to wifi.  Starting at the top, there are blocks of data for locos, in the order of ID#s.  Scroll down to 29 & 30 (I don't see IDs in the data; you'll have to decipher based on loco names.  What do you see?

To what program are you referring?

If you mean the Loader Program, unfortunately, that file will not be easily decipherable. No matter the intended destination for the file, the app or another remote, the file will look just like a clone file.

A legible file would be one exported by the app for importing into another app.
