Found an inexpensive cord replacement for most transformers. I go to Salvation Army or

GoodWill, purchase a woman's hair curling iron or straightener for $2 or less. Cut the Good cord

off. throw the curler away and use the cord for my transformwer fixes.

That's a lot cheaper then buying new cords for upwards of $7-$10 ea.

I have also used old appliance cords as replacements. **  I needed to come up with some small pieces of wire to rewire a Postwar whistle, but what I had was too large.  I hit a brainstorm, when I looked in a box of old Walwarts, I have accumulated over the years.  Some of them have cords that resemble "zipcord".  Bingo, I had my needed size wire to rewire the whistle, and it didn't really cost me anything.  Sometimes you just have to think a little bit, to come up with a solution.  I now know that I have an endless supply of wire, (because who ever throws out the "walwart", and just keeps them around.  Just thought I would throw that out there.
