just click into the gray area below the post and type your message. Then scroll down to post reply in the blue box. Also make sure you are logged into the site.

To reply to a post, just click inside this box in the thread...
and type away. When you are finished writing the post, click the blue "Post Reply" button and you're done!

You can also take it offline by using the e-mail address in their profile (if available).
If the person is a Digital Subscriber, you can use 'Private Message' to comment more in detail, which when done in the public realm, can make a topic take off on a tangent.
