Hey gang, one more (probably simple) question on my older REV I TIU.

Do I understand correctly that the common (black) terminals are connected internally on my TIU?

I am also using my older TMCC setup on this small layout.   I currently have the command base (U) connected to fixed in 1 common (black).

If I then power a second loop with a separate Powerhouse thru Fixed in and out 2, would the command signal go to fixed out 2?

My setup is thus:

Loop1

Lionel 180 PH > Fixed In 1; Fixed Out 2 > Track

TMCC (U) >Fixed In 1 (black)

About to add:

Loop 2

Lionel 180 PH > Fixed In 2; Fixed Out 2 > track

The loops are not connected by switches.

For a small 6x8 layout, is this the best way to get the TMCC to the loops, or should I simply bypass the TIU and run the TMCC signal wire to each loop?

The TMCC signal is working great in my one loop setup passing thru the TIU common.

Thanks for you insight and knowledge in advance!

No, they are not connected internally.

Not necessarily reliably. To be sure, you should connect the command base to all TIU channel outputs.

Your choice. Either connect to all TIU channel outputs to to all the loops.
