Lionel 6-6123 Pennsylvania 4 bay covered hopper with opening hatches

This model is a very basic O-27 4 bay hopper that was issued in 1984. (BLT 1-84) It was produced by Fundimensions Division of CPG Products Corp., Mount Clemens, Michigan. The model was included in Famous American Railroads Series 5.

The car includes sprung metal trucks that are attached to plastic end pieces with screws. The plastic end pieces have molded in representations of brake gear.
