I was a faithful fan when we had subscription TV and recorded most of the shows. We cut the cord a few years ago. I miss it but its not worth the cost to stream it for these two shows and no interest in keeping track of cattle futures and corn prices.

Pete, you're not missing anything.  They've run the same couple dozen episodes on repeat, over and over, for years.

Tomorow at 1700hrs will be Santa Fe 3751 Heavy Mountain type 4-8-4 and almost forgot at 1530hrs we have I love toy trains Lionel Nation 8. Support your local VFW and American Legion.

Santa Fe 3751 is definitely NOT a "Heavy Mountain type". Steam locomotives with 4-8-4 wheel arrangement are "Northern type", although a number of railroads had their own "home road" names for such Northerns.

Glad to know, per Santa Fe 3751 - Wikipedia it shows Heavy Mountain type, must be a error on that site?, just stating how they list this engine. Thanks for the input.

ATSF's "Northerns" were designated "2900 class" by the railroad:

https://www.steamlocomotive.co...=USA&wheel=4-8-4

ATSF's "mountain type" were designated "3700 class" which includes SBRHS's nicely-restored 3751:

https://www.sbrhs.org/equipmen...fe-3751/history.html

So 3751 is, indeed, "mountain type." From the SBRHS write-up, 3751 was ATSF's first 4-8-4 and was an engineering "derivative" of the earlier 3700 class "mountain type" 4-8-2's.

Once again, the devil is in the details...

@Sitka,

Thanks for the tip on RFD TV. Our local U-verse has it, and I sometimes record an episode of ‘Texas Bucket List’ from it if I’ve missed the broadcast from our local NBC affiliate. I’ll look for those train shows now. I haven’t seen any so they’re all new to me.

Thanks Texgeekboy, They do have a lot of reruns but did this for the grandkids that might have the channel and that like trains. I do find myself watching YouTube (that has lots of trains) on our TV when the weather is bad or nothing else is on. God Speed Mark
