Anyone have a ride platform only caboose in their setup? I saw this one today in Spokane, WA.

There was an article in MODEL RAILROADER last month about how to modify an HO Scale Extended-Vision Caboose to become a Riding Platform.

Thanks, Andrew, I've been noticing these shove platforms around more and more. I guess thats the future for the caboose. At least they're still out there in use one way or another.

Interesting, and modern, but I haven't and probably won't modify one of mine. In the 1950s, the time period I model, cabooses were still cabooses (unless they were cabeese
).
